Once again TRG attended this year’s BBGV Fun Run to help give a little back to its community, this year with PJ’s Coffee refreshing attendees with free coffee and Lemonade.
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – 30 September 2019 – Since 2000 BBGV has held an annual charity fun run that brings people out into the fresh air to have fun and exercise, while raising money for charity. Every year TRG joins the fun run to help give back to the community and give its employees an opportunity to relax and have fun with co-workers and family, while helping a good cause.
This year was no different. In the early hours of a beautiful Sunday morning over 20 employees from TRG, along with family and friends, joined together at the BBGV Charity Fun Run 19th to enjoy a fun morning together filled with exercise, good company, and the many amazing booths and activities at the event. Just from the employees that showed up for the event, TRG raised over 4,000,000 VND for charity, no counting the personal contributions from employees to the event.
However, TRG were not the only ones who joined the fun run this year. PJ’s Coffee, which is a part of TRG F&B, were also there and because they just joined the ranks of In-kind Gold sponsors for the event, decided to celebrate by refreshing attendees with free coffee, tea and lemonade the entire morning. Over 1,200 cups of coffee and lemonade was served during the event by the amazing barista from PJ’s Coffee.
This event is first and foremost an opportunity to have fun with friends and family and the employees at TRG certainly took that to heart. At the event, the Founder and CEO, Mr. Rick Yvanovich, along with two employees were dressed as mascots for PJ’s Coffee and ran the 5km course as giant cups of coffee, taking pictures with kids and adults alike along the way.
TRG and PJ’s Coffee expect to be back at the BBGV Fun Run next year to continue their contributions to charity and enjoy another great day together in the fresh air.
