Ho Chi Minh City, 9th March 2017 – 6 Broward College students gathered in PJ’s Coffee Sala to listen sharing from TRG F&B marketers in marketing-related disciplines on topics ranging from B2C marketing to some guidance of LTO’s campaign (LTO – Limited time offers). The roundtable discussion was organized by Saigon Coffee Academy (SCA) – a partner of PJ’s Coffee.
The students sitting around the tables in PJ’s Coffee were pursuing a range of careers in hospitality and other functions, but they were aware of the importance of marketing in the service area.
Yen Nguyen – Marketing Executive of TRG F&B spoke on what differences between B2B & B2C Marketing while her colleague – Trinh explained to student specific steps of an LTO campaign. Mui – a junior student of Broward College raised her question about the strategy of a coffee franchise like PJ’s Coffee to reach targeted customers in Vietnam. Other students also contributed ideas to make a great marketing campaign in the F&B world.

In addition to understanding the consumer, another key theme across the tables was the importance of a brand identity kit in marketing. An – graphic designer of TRG F&B told the student about typical tasks of a graphic designer and how a marketer can coordinate well with the designer for the effective key visuals.
After the roundtable discussion, Broward students expressed their appreciation for real sharing from TRG F&B marketers which is helpful for their future career.
